Something not working, or a question the app doesn’t answer? Start here — and if it isn’t below, write to us.

Email support@bplog.me. A real person reads it. Tell us what you were doing and what happened — and if it’s about a specific reading, when you took it.

The sign-in link didn’t arrive

Check the spam folder first; a one-off email from a domain you’ve never had mail from is exactly what filters distrust. If it isn’t there, request another — asking again is harmless, and only the newest link works.

Links expire 24 hours after they’re sent. An older one will say it’s invalid rather than sign you in, which is the intended behaviour and not a fault.

I used Apple and now I can’t get back in

Sign in with Apple can hide your address behind a private relay, or share none at all. That works — but it means an email link or a Google sign-in has nothing to match you by, and would start a second, empty account instead of finding yours.

Fix it from Settings: if the account needs another way in, there’s a Connect Google button that attaches one. Do it while you’re still signed in — it’s much easier than afterwards.

Sharing a report with a doctor

The Report tab builds a one-page summary of whatever range you pick — 7, 14 or 30 days, or everything you’ve logged. Three ways out of the browser:

Your name is left off by default. The Hide name switch above the card controls it, and it applies to the screen, the image and the filename together.

Fixing or removing a reading

On the log, press Edit, then the pencil beside a row. Everything is editable, including the time — useful when you logged a reading hours after taking it. The bin deletes a row outright.

The phone app and the website

They’re the same account. Sign in with the same method on both and your readings are simply there — nothing to export, import or pair.

Deleting your account

Settings → Delete account. It removes your account and every reading in it immediately and permanently, with no grace period and no copy kept, so export a CSV first if you want your history.

What BP Log won’t do

It won’t tell you whether a reading is dangerous, and it isn’t a medical device. The colour next to a reading is the published general range, offered as context for a conversation with a clinician — not as an assessment of you. If a reading worries you or you feel unwell, speak to a doctor; in an emergency, call your local emergency number.
